Dina Wreede joined Foley Hoag in 1988, and serves as Director of Legal Recruiting and Professional Development. She is responsible for firmwide management of attorney and summer associate recruiting, diversity efforts and professional development programs.

Dina is charged with making the initial interview decisions on law student and lateral attorney candidates, and oversees the staff responsible for organizing all campus and office interview schedules. As a central part of the recruiting effort, she manages all aspects of the firm’s summer associate program, including orientation, assignment distribution, work evaluations, training programs and social events. For lateral recruiting she directs the efforts of executive search firms.

In her professional development responsibilities, Dina organizes attorney orientation and development programs, including a multi-week program for entry-level associates. She also helps the managing partners establish policies affecting legal personnel and in developing diversity initiatives. Reflecting her extensive experience, Dina frequently serves on law school and Boston Lawyers Group panels as a speaker about recruiting and professional development issues.

Before joining the firm, Dina was a recruitment administrator for a major investment firm, and also managed personnel and other operations for an insurance firm.
